germana enmigrant':
"Nu, certe restas same,
ĉu diri 'land' ĉu 'land',
ĉu por hejmujo 'homeland'
cu 'poem' por 'poem'.
Mi certe estas happy,
sed sen feliĉo mem.

land = prononcu: lend
poem = prononcu: poem
happy = prononcu: hepi = tre kontenta, sed ne nepre feliĉa

ein deutscher Emigrant:
"Gewiß, es bleibt dasselbe,
sag ich nun land statt Land,
sag ich für Heimat Homeland
und poem für Gedicht.
Gewiß, ich bin sehr happy:
Doch glücklich bin ich nicht."
